Accessorise Like A Boss With Peek-A-Boo Gloves | London Accessory Week

Could you tell us a little about your brand?

My brand is called Peek-a-Boo Gloves. I design gloves for women. I created /patented this design because it was almost impossible for women to wear gloves. Women who wear rings either have to remove them or attempt to slide their rings over the glove. When rings are worn, wearing gloves was not an option. Until now.

What is the story behind the brand?

My brand actually started by accident 6 years ago. I was working out at the gym wearing weight-lifting gloves. I would try to work out with my ring on but it was uncomfortable. Most times I would lock my ring up in the car or place it in my sports bra. One day when I got home I took a pair of scissors and cut a slit in my workout glove. It worked. My ring popped through and I had more room in my gloves. It was liberating. From there, I decided that millions of women could benefit from my creation. I started to draw my design out, and work with companies who could bring my vision to life. Here we are!

What have been your main sources of inspiration?

They are the powerful, strong, motivational, boss babes who have come before me and paved the way for women like me. Their sense of style, their energy, and the belief that we can do whatever we put our minds to as long as we are willing to put in the work. How would you describe your design/product concept? I would describe my design as groundbreaking, brilliant, and unique. With the design, women can comfortably wear their rings and gloves at the same time. My design allows the diamond to pop up, freeing the hands, and giving more room in the gloves.

What is your dream project?

If there are no limitations, what would you like to create? My dream project would be to collaborate with big brands like Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, and Isotoner. If there were no limitations I would love to have a Peek-a-Boo workout glove with those companies. I would also love to have an Isotoner Peek-a-Boo Glove with many colours. I would also love to see my brand on the shelves in many stores across the country.

Who is your source of inspiration?

My muse is Rihanna. She epitomises strength, beauty, and brains. She is my muse because she was able to start a brand and grow it to what it is now. She put in the work. She promoted her brand. She had a vision and it is amazing to see how far she has come. I want that for myself. I want the chance to grow my business and make it a household name.
